Dear reader and friend,

I'm excited to announce that Texas Heir is a finalist for the RITA® in Series Contemporary given by the Romance Writers of America® (RWA). The 2009 RITA honors romance fiction published in 2008. Winners of the awards will be announced July 18th at the RITA and Golden Heart Awards Ceremony to be held at RWA's 29th Annual National Conference in Washington, D.C.

This is indeed an honor and a dream come true.

Here we are in 2009 and I'm excited. I have three books coming out this year. In March I have The Sheriff of Horseshoe, Texas being released by Harlequin American. It's part of the Men Made In America series. If you like feisty heroines, you have to read this book. (See cover and excerpt below)

Harlequin is celebrating sixty years of romance and offering free downloads - a book from each of their lines. HarlequinCelebrates.com You can download Once a Cowboy for free. Enjoy this special gift from Harlequin.

This summer I start a trilogy for Harlequin SuperRomance-The Belles of Texas. Every belle needs her beau... Three sisters determined to save a rundown ranch. Their nicknames are Bossy, Bitchy and Betty Crocker Sweet so you don't want to miss the Belles. They'll certainly entertain you.

The first book, Caitlyn's Prize, will be a July '09 release and Madison's Children will follow in October '09. Skylar's Outlaw will be an early '10 book.

So mark your calendars and get ready for a fun-reading 2009.

Thank you for stopping by.

Warmest regards,
Linda Warren

From Madison's Children

Walker smiled that gorgeous grin and Maddie's knees felt weak.

They weakened more as his eyes traveled over her.

"Do you know how good you look?"

"I just put on warm clothes."

"They're certainly warming me up."

She thumbed toward the fireplace. "It's the fire."

"Not unless it has blue, blue eyes, a curvy body and blond hair."

They stared at each other for a long moment. Almost in slow motion his hand circled her neck and pulled her forward. His lips touched hers tentatively at first and then the warmth of the room, the warmth of each other engulfed them.
